Ivan has previously managed the production of a weekly comedy improvisation show for over two years, run improv training workshops for performers and children, and produced, directed and starred in his own show in the Sydney Comedy Festival in 2011 at the Factory Theatre.
ImprovisAsian started off helping predominantly professionals and children of Asian heritage. However, with the growing impact of Asia in both the corporate and social sector, our services were also sought by others which wished to better themselves and be more proactive in their career, organisation and personal lives. We later added the branding of Improtagonist as an option to organisations which wanted something less culturally specific.
We understand both Asian and Western culture and how that impacts us educationally, socially and in business. We not only have the experience in training others, but have had previous lives in corporate structures and the requirements in meeting milestones, targets, programme, etc AND have been trained and performed professionally in theatre and film which allows us to help grow your creativity and non-verbal language skills quickly.
The Schools workshops are designed to meet curriculum requirements with the emphasis on allowing the students to experiment more with their interpretations of skills. It allows them to grow their confidence and cooperate more easily with others.
The workshops are taught in a friendly and casual atmosphere as we believe that it promotes the most receptive and retention of the skills we teach. We create a safe environment to try new ideas and experiment with the attendees suggestions where failure isn't an end, but a start of learning something new.
ImprovisAsian also offers training in basic cultural communication and also provides role players for internal Leadership programs within both the government and private sector.
We believe that everyone has the right to learn and better themselves, so if you would like private training, contact us and if we are unable to assist we can point you in the right direction.
